Designer of the hat brand SAWA VAUGHTERS, Sawa Vaughters trained under legendary milliner Stephen Jones.

While pursuing innovative forms, the brand is built on the concept of drawing out individuality through gender-neutral beauty. Customers can select personalized accessories through the online shop, and at special events held at select department stores and concept-shops, fully customized one-of-a-kind pieces are also available.
In 2025, she collaborated with Dior, creating hats for the Dior Fall Collection「Japanese savoir-faire」, presented at To-ji Temple in Kyoto. The collection fused modernism with Japan’s traditional kasa hats, reinterpreting heritage forms through a contemporary lens.
Inspired by the design philosophy of space exploration, we develop “SPACE THINKING Products” that bring new value to everyday life.
Our T+00:00:00 (T-Plus) cap cap has become a favorite among professionals and organizations in the space industry and was also featured in an official collaboration with the manga Space Brothers. It is currently available for purchase on the Space Brothers official website.
Through our “The Circle Connected by T+” initiative, we introduce members of the space community who wear T+ on the Space Brothers website. In addition, 10% of all sales are donated to UNISEC (University Space Engineering Consortium) to help support and inspire the next generation of space professionals.
Meanwhile, ESM(Essential Support Module) received a Special Award in the DuPont Design Competition (USA). The original design was later released by the outdoor brand CHUMS.
In February 2026, together with two companies based in Oita Prefecture, home to Japan’s growing spaceport, we introduced the new ESM Active Model in collaboration with Shobo Bosai Co., Ltd. and Sato Waterproofing Co., Ltd.
Inspired by the design philosophy of the International Space Station (ISS) and the Portable Life Support System (PLSS), ESM is a modular bag system designed for use both on Earth and in the spirit of space exploration.
Its concept is simple: “Everyday life becomes preparedness.”
