Born in Tokyo.

After graduating Bunka Fashion College, moved to England, where she worked for Stephen Jones Millinery, the top milliner in the UK. While at Stephen Jones, created hats for such designers as Christian Dior, John Galliano, Givenchy and Antonio Berardi to name a few.

Moved to Los Angeles to learn special effects skills to add to her millinery technique. While based in Los Angeles, created hats for commercials, magazines and music videos for such artists as Smashing Pumpkins, George Michael, Cindy Lauper and Black Eyed Peas.

Pronounced as an alumni designer for GEN-ART fresh face in Fashion (L.A).

Relocated to Tokyo. While creating hats for various musicians, created show piece hats for Yoshiki Hishinuma Paris Collection. Created commercial line hats for Italian bag brand FURLA when the brand was launched for the Japanese market.


Hats used in Japanse TV comercials, as well as music videos by a number of Japanese musicians and actors.
